What checks and tests do the used machines go through?

Our team of chipper specialists go through every machine and prepare it ready for sale. All Non Forst machines will get thoroughly checked which will include bearings, blades, belts etc. plus we will check when it was last serviced and if required give it a full engine service also including fuel filters and fuel hose. Forst machines get a little bit more attention purely because we are the manufacturer and have an ample supply of spares . We will go right through the machine and check if the bodywork is in good condition, if it is a trailed unit we will check the lights, the tow hitch, brakes etc and then there’s the functioning of the machine itself so,  flywheel bearings, feed roller bearings, grease lines, anvil, blades and so on – all the common parts of the machine.
